The Harbour City Project
Jack Bridges

"The purpose of this film is to create a socio-political analysis of Harbour City through still images and experimental film techniques."

Jack Bridger

Selected Personal Images
Tom Hepworth

Tom Hepworth has developed a unique-style to his film-making, using a technique that involves a mobile phone, a projector and plenty of creative inspiration. As opposed a simple linear progression in the process, Tom prefers to allow the images to build organically into a whole and this is particularly striking in this feature piece. Tom is currently working with Fallyrag’s Creative Impressions on a promotional video.

Bird Does Boosh
John Lee Bird

Fallyrag regular John Lee Bird has put together this video of himself, the artist, as work. Watch from scratch to finish as he creates a painting of Noel Fielding, of Mighty Boosh fame, in what is an intriguing insight into the workings of an artist. To see preview more of John’s work, check out the Fallyrag Archive where previous features of the artist are stored.

Director Showreel
Edmund Fargher

" Filmmaking, quite simply, is all I have ever wanted to do. It is literally the only career choice I have ever desired (except for when I wanted to be a mad scientist, but that was only after watching too many sci-fi movies as a kid). I didn’t always know what that entailed, all I knew was that I loved watching films and my Dad said that the person in charge of making them was called the director. Today, I am a little more aware of how cutthroat the business can be and how hard it is to even make a ripple in the vast pool of talent, even on a local scale, let alone a national or global one. My love for the medium, however, remains as strong as it ever was."

Shooting The Breeze
Duncan Kenning

Shooting The Breeze is a short film and accompanying soundtrack produced by Duncan Kenning. It was filmed over a 7 day period in May, 2008 at Carland Cross Windfarm near Truro in Cornwall. Almost 2 hours of raw footage was shot on location before being edited down to produce the final 4 minute, 15 second long film. The accompanying soundtrack was produced prior to filming. Self-recorded and free to use internet samples were mixed together to recreate, with some artistic liscence, the effect felt when walking between the 60-metre high wind turbines at Carland Cross.
