Creative Impressions, the Fallyrag art collective, is taking you on a tour round 2009's most exciting arts, culture and music festivals. The preview pages featured in this edition will remain accessible all season and will be regularly updated with all the latest information, swooping and streaming in from events.
Instead of the usual journalistic reviews, we'll be sending some of our house writers and artists, to produce creative impressions of their festival experience. As well as features included in the pages of the journal, there'll be a Fallyrag at the Festivals Book to purchase as a lasting artist retrospective of what promises to be a mind-bendingly good 2009. It will include both extended creative reviews from our house artists and perceptions from you, our creative reader. Details on pre-order copies will follow.
Are you a creative festival pixie? If you'd like the chance to have any of your art, short stories or poetry published as part of this festival season's creative impressions, then please email us at creativeimpressions@fallyrag.com . The work only has to be inspired by your being at the festival in question and isn't limited to just the events we've previewed here. Deadline for submissions is the 30th September, 2009.
